Iodobalance

Iodbalans is a part of the pharmacotherapeutic group of drugs for replenishing iodine deficiency in the body. The manufacturer of the drug is Merck KGaA (Germany). Other trade names (synonyms and generics): Potassium iodide, Iodex, Iod-Normil, Iodomarin, Microiodide, Iod Vitrum, etc.

As with all drugs-synonyms of this pharmacotherapeutic group, the therapeutic effect of Iodbalans is due to the active substance - potassium iodide, therefore the pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics of Iodbalans are identical to drugs with other commercial names - see Iodex.
