Medasept
Medasept has disinfectant properties. It belongs to the group of antiseptic drugs.

Indications Medasept
It is used to treat infiltrates, panaritiums, furuncles, and mastitis in the early stages of development. The solution is used for compresses or rubbing.
It can also be used to treat the hands of a surgeon before performing an operation.
Release form
The release of the medicinal substance is realized in the form of a solution used for external treatment. The medicine is packed in bottles with a capacity of 0.1 l.
Pharmacodynamics
After external treatment, the medication demonstrates disinfectant, antiseptic and local irritant activity.
Ethyl alcohol promotes protein coagulation and also has an effect on viruses, as well as gram-negative and -positive microbes.
Dosing and administration
Medasept is used for external procedures – compresses and rubdowns, as well as for disinfecting the epidermis (for example, on the hands).
When applying compresses or rubbing (to prevent burns), ethyl alcohol is diluted with water in proportions of 1 to 1.

Use Medasept during pregnancy
During lactation or pregnancy, Medasept can be prescribed only in cases where the possible benefit to the woman is more likely than the risk of developing serious consequences for the child or fetus.
Contraindications
Main contraindications:
- the presence of intolerance to the components of the drug;
- use in the presence of acute inflammations on the epidermis.
Side effects Medasept
After local treatment with the drug, irritation of the mucous membranes or epidermis may occur.
If any side effects develop, you should immediately contact your doctor.

Storage conditions
Medasept should be kept in places away from fire and closed to small children. Temperature values should not exceed 25°C.
Shelf life
Medasept can be used within 5 years from the date of manufacture of the therapeutic agent.
Application for children
The use of the drug in pediatrics is permitted only with a doctor's prescription.
