Testis compositum
Testis compositum is a combined homeopathic medicine, the effect of the active elements of which is necessary to stabilize the functioning of the sex glands in males.
The drug has anti-inflammatory, vasodilating and metabolic properties, which develop by activating the reserves and immunity of the human body, and in addition to this, stabilizing the functions that have been disrupted.
The drug also exhibits anticonvulsant, trophic and, at the same time, stimulating (relative to male gonads) activity.
Indications Testis compositum
It is used for therapy of various dysfunctions associated with male gonads, which develop in the following diseases:
- impotence, prostatitis;
- chronic urethritis;
- imbalance of metabolic processes;
- induration hardening of the penis;
- prostate adenoma;
- dystrophy of adiposogenital nature;
- premature ejaculation;
- osteomalacia;
- nocturnal enuresis;
- progressive muscular dystrophy;
- diabetes mellitus.
Release form
The drug is released in the form of an injection liquid, inside ampoules; inside a pack there are 5 or 100 ampoules.
Dosing and administration
For a single administration, 1 ampoule of medication (2.2 ml) is usually prescribed. During active phases of the disease, a single dose is administered daily for 3 days. Further therapy or treatment of chronic lesions requires 2-3 times the use of the medication per week. Intramuscular, intravenous and subcutaneous injections can be performed.
In addition, you can take the medicinal liquid orally - in this case, the solution from the ampoule is diluted in plain water (5-10 ml), after which you drink this mixture, holding it in your mouth for a few seconds before swallowing.
Monotherapy or combination treatment can last for 3-6 weeks.
- Application for children
There is not enough information about the use of Testis Compositum in pediatrics, which is why it is not prescribed to boys under 12 years of age.
Use Testis compositum during pregnancy
The medication is prescribed only to men.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated to use the medication in case of severe personal intolerance to its components, especially animal protein, which is foreign to humans.
Side effects Testis compositum
Occasionally, side effects are observed, developing due to individual intolerance. Intravenous injection of foreign protein (in a dilution greater than D10) can lead to the development of anaphylactic symptoms.
Interactions with other drugs
The medication can be used in combination with other medications used to treat disorders of the male sex glands. It is often prescribed for combination therapy.
Storage conditions
Testis compositum must be stored at temperatures no higher than 25°C.
Shelf life
Testis compositum can be used within a 5-year period from the date of manufacture of the medicinal product.
Analogues
The analogs of the drug are Bioprost, Himcolin, Afala, Prostatilen with Vitaprost, Samprost and Speman with Prostanorm, and also Priligy, Tentex forte and Uroprost.
Reviews
Testis compositum receives quite contradictory reviews from doctors and patients. Some of them consider the medication effective and safe, but there are also those who rate it as completely useless.
