Undevit multivitamins can be purchased in pharmacies without a prescription.

Indications Undevit
Undevit can be prescribed:
- to prevent and eliminate vitamin deficiencies;
- in case of malnutrition, forced diets, intolerance to certain foods;
- in case of increased need for vitamins (for example, during or after pregnancy, during puberty, etc.);
- in case of excessive physical and mental stress;
- during periods of recovery after operations, illnesses, injuries, etc.;
- simultaneously with chemotherapy treatment;
- to support the body during acute respiratory infections and acute respiratory viral infections;
- to speed up metabolism and increase the body's endurance.
Release form
Undevit is produced in the form of a spherical dragee of bright yellow color with a pleasant specific aroma. Appearance of the dragee: without inclusions, uniform shade.
The composition of each dragee is presented:
- retinol palmitate and acetate (vit. A);
- tocopherol (vit. E);
- vitamins B1, B2, B6, B12;
- ascorbic acid;
- nicotinamide;
- folic acid;
- routine;
- vitamin B5.
The drug is available in plastic jars containing 50 dragees.
Pharmacodynamics
Undevit is a carefully selected complex of vitamins essential for the body.
The properties of the medicine are determined by its composition. Water-soluble and fat-soluble vitamins normalize tissue metabolism, improve cell nutrition and enzymatic activity. Regular intake of the drug stabilizes the functioning of all body structures and increases immunity.
Antioxidants – vitamins A, E and ascorbic acid – help maintain homeostasis even in case of illness.
The vitamin complex as a whole improves adaptation processes and the function of the nervous system, stabilizes the work of the endocrine glands, which can be disrupted due to age-related changes.
Pharmacokinetics
After oral administration of Undevit, the beneficial substances are qualitatively absorbed in the small intestine. Entering the circulatory system, the vitamins reach all organs and systems. The body removes metabolic residues with urine and bile.
Dosing and administration
Undevit is recommended to be taken orally immediately after meals.
To prevent hypovitaminosis, take 1 tablet in the morning after breakfast. In old age, the dosage can be doubled.
To treat hypovitaminosis, take 2 tablets after breakfast, lunch and dinner. During pregnancy, it is undesirable to take more than 2 tablets in one day.
The duration of taking the medication is up to 1 month. After 30-90 days, the course can be repeated.

Use Undevit during pregnancy
The drug Undevit is approved for use during the period of conception planning, as well as to support an already existing pregnancy.
Contraindications
It is not advisable to take Undevit if you are allergic to the composition of the medication, as well as in pediatric practice (children under 14 years of age). Other special vitamin complexes with appropriate dosages are provided for children.
Side effects Undevit
Very rarely, or with prolonged use of Undevit, bowel disorder, discomfort in the abdomen, and allergic reactions in the form of dermatitis, swelling and redness of the skin are possible. In isolated cases, liver dysfunction was noted.
Overdose
If you stick to the recommended amount of the drug, then an overdose in this case is impossible.
With uncontrolled chaotic use of Undevit, signs of increased retinol content in the body may develop, which can manifest as drowsiness, weakness, convulsions, facial flushing, dyspepsia, headache and bone pain.
In case of excessive intake of multivitamins, symptomatic therapy is used.
Storage conditions
It is recommended to store Undevit in normal temperature conditions, out of the reach of children.
Shelf life
Shelf life: up to 1 year.
